Record numbers of high flying A-level students achieved both A-B and A-C grades this summer at King Edward VII. A whopping 72% of sixth formers secured a grade C or above, surpassing last year's best ever by 4%, whilst over 42% achieved a grade A or B. 98% of students attained an A-level pass. Assistant Principal Post 16, Fraser Mitchell, was thrilled: "These are fantastic results. I'm delighted that we've broken records again with our higher grades. It's a remarkable achievement."
Principal, Chris Williams, paid tribute to hard work and commitment across the school. "These outstanding results reflect ability, hard work and perseverance – our Sixth Form students have so much to be proud of. These results are also a real tribute to the professionalism and dedication of staff."
Two students, Ben Hendy and Hollie Crossley, were ranked amongst the top 5 nationally for their achievements in Art.
