Year 10 students at King Edward VII School have been busy raising money for their favourite charities. As part of their Citizenship GCSE students have been tackling coursework which involved them working in teams to research a range of charities, selecting one they would like to help and then putting their fundraising ideas into action at the school.
Of the 550 students who have been involved in this project 10 teams were selected to give a 5 minute presentation explaining their activity to a panel of judges comprising of: Andrea Lovegrove (Tesco), Rachael Clarke (Leicestershire Educational Business Company), Christian Weikert-Picker (LOROS) and Darrell Whitehead (King Edward VII’s Director of Communication).
