King Edward VII School recently played host to teachers from six major schools in Delhi. Their subject specialisms ranged from English to Biology and ICT. All of the Indian teachers stayed either with host families or teachers. They were here as part of the UKIERI (UK India Environmental Research Initiative) project. This is the third year that it has been running. Previous exchanges of teachers from the Delhi and Leicestershire clusters have taken place over the last two years.

They were greeted by the Principal, Mr Williams, and there was an exchange of gifts. After that the teachers visited English lessons, Science and Design areas. They were very impressed by everything they saw and experienced, especially the facilities in Design. The guests were treated to an excellent dance performance by Year 10 students.

Later, they met Year 8 students who will carry the project forward because Year 11 students who are presently involved are moving to Post-16.
