Emma’s dream has come true!

Emma Howitt (Year 13) went to the library to see Steve Bowkett and show him samples of her art work as well as to ask him advice about her hopes to become an Illustrator. Steve was so impressed with her work that after his visit he has contacted her and asked her whether she would like to illustrate a short story in a book he is writing. Emma is thrilled and is looking forward to the challenge!

Dean Hume winner of Prize Draw!

To celebrate the visit of Steve Bowkett’s visit to King Edward VII School the library held a prize draw for one of Steve’s books ‘Catch Minitals: Short Horror Stories with a Sting!” an appropriate book in view of Halloween! Steve kindly picked the lucky winner, Dean Hume from Year 9 (pictured right).
