Located on the campus of King Edward VII School in Melton Mowbray,
The Professional Learning Centre is committed to providing professional learning services to the school, family of schools and local business community.
We seek to strengthen the strategic partnerships forged with the family of schools and the local college to promote better development opportunities for those working in education in the area.
We also provide extensive training and development activity for local business and the wider community, including the voluntary sectors and the Melton Borough Council.
The Professional Learning Centre seeks to establish itself as a leading provider of adult learning in relation to the development of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) skills, Management and Leadership programmes, Initial Teacher Training, and Education Support Staff development.
Through strong partnerships with nationally recognised groups, such as the National College for Strategic Leadership, East Midlands Leadership Centre, Secondary Heads Association, Specialist Schools Trust and other national and international organisations, such as Microsoft, Standards for Education, and Strictly Education the Professional Learning Centre offers consultancy services centred around innovation and excellence in education.
